The Main Page layout differs from the rest of the site: it features a sidebar within the main content area. The sidebar content is injected via [[MediaWiki:Bottom-notice-Main Page]] and positioned by Javascript. You can find more information about page notices in the [https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:PageNotice extension documentation].
 
 
Pages in the MediaWiki namespace is editable by privileged users (group <code>interface-admin</code>).
 
Currently, the Main Page bottom notice contains:

A reusable template that renders a card element for an image or a YouTube video. See documentation on Template:Featured.

Sidebar content

The Main Page layout differs from the rest of the site: it features a sidebar within the main content area. The sidebar content is injected via MediaWiki:Bottom-notice-Main Page and positioned by Javascript. You can find more information about page notices in the extension documentation.
